KEVIN LOCKLIN: A personal injury case involves injury that results from tort. A tort is when someone is negligent that causes harm, whether it be an orthopedic injury, a brain injury, or a wrongful death. The inside information that I possess as a result of representing insurance companies in the past benefits my clients in that I know how to prepare them for depositions. I know how to prepare their settlement packages. And I know how to prepare them for expert reviews or examinations. And with all that information, they're ahead of most individuals that take on the insurance industry. There's very few attorneys that are willing to truly take a case to trial.
